Sunrise on the Upper Saco
I have many fond memories of swimming and fishing here, with the smell of charcoal wafting in the air, as our family spent many an afternoon, picnicking at this spot.
This has been a difficult summer/spring to photograph, as with all the wet weather, there have been very few sunrise/sunsets at all, let alone, to be there in the dark to shoot one.
Revisiting old haunts, I came back here last summer, looking for an East facing spot to photograph sunrise. After a couple fruitless tries last year, I returned in the dark this past week.
I love the colored reflection off the water, and the smooth sweet curves of the rock, with multiple leading lines, bringing your eye to that stellar sky. Pretty sweet:)
