It is also known as the Rose Moon and the Hot Moon...I hiked Rattlesnake Mt. in Holderness, set up my tripod, and composed my image where the moon would rise. I sat and enjoyed the warm evening breeze and the solitary song of a wood thrush. The moon soon climbed over the ridge, glowing beautiful orange as it began to rise.
