| This image is taken from the Boot Spur ridge, along the Davis Path, as the last moments of sun lit up the high mountain grass. The Davis Path is one of the most isolated trails in the White Mountains. The Trail is difficult and water is hard to find. It is a point to point trail, mainly used by overnight backpackers, and runs all the way from Crawford Notch, to the summit of Mt. Washington. |
