This past winter, I got up at 4:00am five times, drove a bit, and took a small hike in the dark to a certain spot I wanted to get a picture from. But the clouds were never in the right place, or there was no color in the sky to speak of, or the mountains remained in the clouds, and before I knew it, winter and my opportunity had passed.......If only we could ask for clouds and color like this (from this week), on the days we are shooting, it would be easy. Alas, I will try again next winter.(basic iPhone image)
