#170901 Northern Lights over Bartlett

Hanging out late with a friend last week, I received a notification that the Northern Lights KP was spiking over 7 (quite high). She had never seen them , so I grabbed my gear and we drove to a high pass on Bear Notch Road at 12:30am to watch them. We hung around till about 2, and could see the green glow, but unfortunately we likely had missed the peak with high spires. So beautiful anyway, and at least she can say she saw them:). The glow below is Bartlett Village draped in fog, and this image caught a shooting star as well:)
